Interactive sculpture. Hand-sewn envelope large enough to fit one person. The outer fabric is the closest color fabric the artist could find to her own skin tone in one store. The inner fabric is a plush pink fabric. Viewers are permitted to crawl into the piece (provided they take off their shoes).
Love Letter examines intimacy, comfort, and vulnerability.
It was inspired by the artist's significant other, who used to repeatedly misspell "envelop" as "envelope" (e.g. "I love the way you envelope me in your skin").
